Rather, we use natural biofertilizers like Jeevamrut & follow sustainable practices, which increases the cost of cultivation but ensures better quality, taste & nutrition.
Moreover, there is a yield penalty due to a lack of surplus chemical nutrition in the soil.
Everything from Neelagri is grown using vertical farming in Net-houses, where we use a controlled atmosphere for disease-free production.
Even the chara for the cows is grown in-house using organic methods so that there’s zero scope of synthetic fertilizers in our food chain.
No, as per Kutch’s climate, we do crop planning during monsoon, so we do not have adequate supply at that time.
